I am currently working with an expanding SME service business who are currently experiencing steady growth. They are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant in the Burnley area which is situated near Accrington and Darwen. This is an exciting role working for a fantastic company who are looking for someone to join them on their journey. This position will be full-time (37.5 hours) and permanent.

Key responsibilities within this role would be:

• Accounts to trial balance level
• Monthly management accounts
• Sales and Purchase ledger invoice processing
• Matching and batching
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintaining month end journals
• Direct debit payments
• Petty Cash
• Cash posting

Desired skills:

• Sage knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of excel
