Today, 12 children and young people will be diagnosed with cancer. We’ll stop at nothing to make sure they get the right care and support at the right time.
When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world (and their family’s) can feel like it’s falling apart. Their anxieties are deep. Their education, mental health and social lives suffer. Their futures feel very uncertain. They need tailored psychosocial support and they need to know that their voices and unique needs are being heard and understood.

About the role This new role within the newly formed Brand and Marketing Communications team will lead our in-house creative services function to create innovative and engaging audience-led content. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will be part of developing a new approach to brand and engagement within the charity.
You’ll lead the next stage of the development and integration of the Young Lives vs Cancer visual identity overseeing the development of the videography and photographic strategy helping us to tell compelling real-life stories and support income generation activities.
As a champion of collaborative working you’ll use your expertise and knowledge to provide support and guidance to your direct reports as well as the wider team and organisation ensuring accessibility, inclusion and representation in everything we do.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience of: ·leading and motivating creative teams,
·developing and embedding brand identities in large organisations,
·audience-led content production including co-creation,
·agency and resource management including developing new ways of working.
First interviews are planned to take place w/c 25 March, prior to this you will be asked to share your portfolio of work.
