Supplying an exciting portfolio of prepared chilled products to the UK retail market, we offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Client to become an integral member of the product development team, working with innovative prepared fruit packs as an NPD Technologist.
The position of NPD Technologist offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic development team at an exciting time of growth, becoming an integral part of a prepared fresh produce business and a fundamental link between the product development kitchen and the production line.
Key responsibilities include;
Manage factory production trials
Report on identified issues and improvements
Lead R&D (research and development) projects
Manage the creative development of new and existing products
This opportunity requires a positive, confident and passionate individual who enjoys working with colleagues across all departments; Packaging, Technical, Production, Planning & Procurement, and is able to build strong relationships with customers, meeting their requirements and needs.
We require an experienced individual from the Food sector, having worked within product development supplying to retail customers. Creativity, passion and enthusiasm are key in product development, to ensure the ongoing success and development of the products and business.
Location: Kent
Salary: up to £31k
Hours; Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm
