P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Transport Administrator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure that all bookings for Community Transport journeys are responded to in an efficient and timely manner and to take responsibility for booking, planning and ensuring that customers are informed of their booked journeys as required and are entered on the appropriate electronic data systems.
- To ensure that all Community Transport members’ data is kept up to date in accordance with company procedures.
- To monitor all required paperwork for drivers, vehicles and other Community Transport requirements.
- To undertake financial duties in relation to the community transport service as required.
- To assist the Manager with administration duties as required in order to support the efficient running of the Community Transport service.
- To provide a backup service for any duties normally covered by the skills centre administrator.
- To provide relief cover in the planned and unplanned absences of administrator colleagues.
- To attend supervision sessions, Team Development days and meetings on a regular basis and participate in required training and to use learning to support daily delivery of the service.
- To ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, observance and adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

- Speaking to people daily over the phone.
Person Specification:
- Experience with administration.
- Great customer service skills and not afraid to pick up the phone.
Working Hours:
- Mon – Fri 37.5 hours a week (30-minute unpaid lunch).
- 08:00 – 16:00 OR 09:00 – 17:00
