INBOUND BONDED SPECIALIST- FULL TIME, WASHINGTON

What you'll be doing:
Key responsibilities
- Liasing with Tax and Finance departments and for compliance queries or audits from customs authorities
- Working closely with inbound planning team to ensure goods are cleared at an appropriate time ahead of delivery
- Monitoring export shipments and relevant end of day stock report to ensure correct declarations are made
- Providing instructions for goods entering a bonded warehouse (Understanding SFD's, EIDRs etc)
- Consulting on large international returns to vendors to ensure compliance at both frontiers for export and import to minimise friction or transactions
- Working with Customs Lead, Supply Chain Manager and broader teams to design and implement improvements to customs processes and data, and ensuring processes are mapped out/documented, and up to date
- Assisting Customs Lead with the maintenance of customs authorisations including AEO and customs warehousing
- Providing ad-hoc customs advice to internal candidates
- Providing ad-hoc customs advice to internal stakeholders
- Proactive approach to process system improvements
- Working with Customs Lead and Clearance Specialists to develop internal reporting and analysis
- Assist Customs Lead with any queries on Duty Deferment reconciliations, and working with CL and Customs Clearance Specialists on compiling and reporting duty related reports for management reporting and trend insight.
- Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, regarding sample returns, international store fulfilment, or carrier queries
