As one of the UK’s fastest growing MSPs, we’re looking for a Technical Delivery Firewall Specialist to join us!

Location: Home Based

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for network security and a commitment to excellence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Join our Technical Delivery Engineering team, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our managed service customers by managing pre-approved customer changes and providing essential technical escalation support.

This role is fully remote, with the expectation that you may need to travel to one of our offices for training and meetings when necessary.

You will alsohave the opportunity for continuous upskilling in this role, not only improving yourself but also advancing your career with plenty of progression opportunities within Nasstar!

Responsibilities:

• Complete customer change requests within specified SLAs, upholding Customer Satisfaction, managing risk and impact,and monitoring via failed reports
• Ensure all customer work is completed to a high quality and processes are followed withdocumentation updated following implementation of changes, and all information is correct for auditing.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support for firewall-related issues.
  
  
• Continually upskill and learn new technologies in order to complete more complex changes and projects, sharing your knowledge back into teams and the business

What we are looking for:

• hands-on experience in Fortinet
• Strong experience in a firewall support role
• Excellent Customer Care, Customer Service and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  
  
• Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
• Further qualifications in Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Webex,JNCIA-Junos desirable
