The role

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge across our NPD pipeline initiatives, rallying cross-functional teams toward a common goal: turning innovative ideas into market-ready products that challenge the status quo. Your role is critical in bridging the gap between diverse functions—merging the expertise of product, technical, marketing, procurement, and supply chain professionals. You will be tasked with driving these projects from inception to delivery, championing progress, navigating the complexities of product development, and steering projects to successful completion with precision and agility. No day is ever the same, but here’s an insight into what you can expect:

• Oversee the NPD project roadmap, managing timelines, resources, and milestones for a portfolio of product development initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the NPD process from concept through to commercialisation.
• Lead multiple project workstreams, ensuring they are in line with strategic objectives, and particularly focusing on the development of innovative food and beverage products.
• Take ownership of technical & retail workstreams, driving process innovation, technology integration, and vendor evaluations to deliver cutting-edge product solutions.
• Acknowledge the financial aspects of the NPD portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and scope, and provide a return on investment.
• Identify and manage risks across the project portfolio, implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
• Ensure critical issues, conflicts, and dependencies across the NPD portfolio are resolved, maintaining clear communication channels with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain essential project documentation and provide regular progress reports to the senior leadership team.

What we're looking for in you

Ideally, we are looking for someone with 4 + years of experience within an NPD/Innovation Project Management role within FMCG and has experience managing cross-functional teams in a complex project environment & ideally across multiple markets .
