Job description

Due to continued growth, we have been instructed on a Business Services/ Accounts Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Worcestershire.

You will be working with a unique and varied client base, including some from the Music, Film, TV and Sport industries.

The successful individual will be ACA/ ACCA Qualified, from a practice background and experienced in managing their own portfolio of clients providing accounts and tax services.

The role will involve acting as long term advisor to your clients, attending regular client meetings as well as managing/ mentoring a team of junior staff and reviewing their work.

The Role:

Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Reviewing year end financial statements
Reviewing Corporate tax computations
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Leading management meetings
Client meetings
Providing technical support to Partners
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Experience of managing a client portfolio
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good working knowledge of GAAP/ IFRS
Excellent communication skills
