Remote Build Engineer
Are you an expert in all things hardware and do you love improving testing systems to make the world (or studio you're working for) a better place?
This studio is looking for a Build Engineer to join them and help grow their diverse and inclusive team. They are a leading developer of games and one of the biggest indie studios in Europe - so you'll have the chance to work on some exciting unreleased titles while also helping them to create an impressive range of media from books and comics to TV and film!
Please note this role is remote within Europe only.
Build Engineer key responsibilities:
- Identify areas for improvement in developers workflow and create solutions to implement
- Work on new platforms to build and test new systems
- Work on existing automated tests and identify and fix any errors
- Work with the wider studio team to find, fix and prevent issues across all systems and hardware
- Write programs to make disparate systems work together seamlessly
Essential requirements for this remote role: - Experience diagnosing hardware issues
- Knowledge of programming - experience with C++, C#, Python, Batch, Bash, Groovy, Java, Peri and/or PHP would be a bonus
- The ability to learn new technologies, concepts, systems and languages with ease
- An enthusiasm for working in a team and the goal of making other people's jobs easier
- It would also be beneficial if you have experience with Windows/Linux administration, Project Management softwares and game development on current-gen consoles
