Job description

The Medical Device Service support users of medical equipment across all of our hospital sites within the Northern Care Alliance. Main duties of this post include retrieval of medical equipment from clinical areas, decontamination of equipment and basic testing of a range of medical devices. You will be required to log and update records on the department’s information database. The department operates within a registered ISO9001 quality system so successful candidates will be expected to follow these procedures. You will possess an Ordinary National certificate in Electrical / Electronic or equivalent and have experience in an Electronic maintenance / service industry. Knowledge of functional testing of electronic equipment with good communication and IT skills will be required.
