Job description
What will the role involve? Responsible for performing clinical tests and supporting the clinical assessment of each patient and for ensuring that all patients understand their treatment. Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the clinic, including ensuring that the recording and filing of clinical outcomes is done accurately, and utilising Newmedica’s electronic patient records. Combining a friendly and accessible personal manner with basic clinical testing skills Delivering great customer service and the ability to work within small teams to maintain and enhance processes to maximise quality and efficiency Assisting in the flow of theatre sessions, by being present in the operating theatre, aiding the surgeon and theatre staff. Providing patients with reassurance and important information, in the pre-op and post-op rooms during theatre lists. Working across our multiple locations; Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Ipswich, to run a variety of clinics What skills and experience do I need for the role? We are looking for individuals who have: GCSE’s in at least Maths and English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task Commitment to delivering consistently high standards of testing and administration An ability to make a significant contribution in a small team. An ability to balance working independently with appropriate escalation. No clinical knowledge is assumed (full training will be given) but intellectual curiosity is required.
