We are currently recruiting for an early years practitioner with a full and relevant childcare qualification to join our Burnley Nursery. The role is working Monday- Friday, to be worked flexibly between the hours of 7.00am-6pm on an 8 hour shift, working 38 weeks of the year. Your role will include;
Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS.
Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
Looking after the health and wellbeing of the child, such as feeding babies and changing their nappies.
Observing children's progress and development, and keeping record of this to collaborate and communicate with parents.
Helping children to develop core skills.
Providing a safe and enabling environment for children to work in.
Teaching to the curricular requirements of the EYFS.
Encouraging physical activities to keep children active.
Supporting children's mental health, fostering an environment where children find help if they need it.
Supporting communication and social skills to help children interact with those around them.
Helping children with educational disabilities or needs with their studies.
