Salary: c. GBP65,000 Basic Salary + Annual Company Performance Bonus
Location: Bishop's Stortford, Herts
Term: Full time, permanent
RecruitAbility is recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join this very successful organisation as a Business Development Manager to build the brand, generate leads and convert opportunities into business.
The role of Business Development Manager Using your influential personality, you will be focussing on opening up client relationships and generating new leads and closing business.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and other departments to plan and execute business development initiatives
- Creating a strategy for converting opportunities into business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to clients
- Attend networking and sponsorship events and oversee the delivery of major corporate events
- Analyse market trends
- Traveling to meetings and events around the region
To be successful in the Business Development Manager role you will have: - A minimum of 5 years' previous Business Development experience
- A background in professional services is essential
- A successful proven track record in converting business opportunities
- Possess strong negotiation skills
- Be confident in giving presentations
- Have an influential personality to build and nurture relationships
- Be a strategic thinker
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- You must have high standards
- Able to manage your own time effectively
- Access to your own vehicle is required
The Package for the Business Development Manager role: - A basic salary of c.GBP65,000 per annum
