Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Rotherham who are recruiting for a Post-16 Tutor to work on a full-time basis.
About the school
This is fantastic role in a school specifically for students with a variety of additional needs with a real emphasis on independent thinking and personal development for each learner with bespoke timetables to ensure that every learner has a tailored pathway to suit their need, aspirations and planned outcomes. They are looking for a Post-16 Tutor to support students aged 16-19, as they move into adulthood.
Assignment Details
This Post-16 Tutor role is to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4PM.

Person Specification
- Applicants must have a teaching qualification relevant to the Post 16 sector i.e. PTTLS, DTTLS, PGCE, etc.
- Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
- Experience in teaching students with SLD and MLD
- You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
