Based Nr Launceston, Cornwall
Up to £14.25 per hour

The Role
We have a fun, homely environment where our residents are individuals, not numbers, all with their own likes, dislikes and talents. As a Care/Support Worker working in adult social care you’ll provide an exceptional care service to our residents to build strong relationships with their family and friends. Joining our friendly team, you’ll support our residents to increase their independence and stay busy and engaged. You’ll typically be working on a one-to-one basis, assisting with a broad range of fun activities such as baking and crafts as well as personal care and medication needs. You will also support our clients to access their local community by accompanying them when they go shopping, trips to the cinema, walks in the village or enjoy a lovely fish and chip supper.

We require you to have:
• The right to work in the UK
• A clean driving license (due to our rural location, public transport is not available)
• A caring, friendly nature.

All about you
No previous care experience required, but if you have worked in the care sector previously, so much the better. You’ll need to be friendly, kind and care about others. What’s more, with full training and shadowing provided, as well as our full support to obtain professional qualifications, this is the perfect role in which to begin or develop your rewarding career.
