Client Details
A well respected Burgess Hill based employer are looking to recruit a full time Senior Credit Controller.
Description
As Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Ensure sales invoices are raised correctly
- Verifying accuracy of all sales information within the system through liaising with individual sites and the wider finance team
- Allocate sales ledger cash received on a daily basis, ensuring targets are met
- Deal with cash related queries from internal and external customers
- Investigate and reconcile individual accounts to resolve disputes and escalate these to line manager where required
- Production and distribution of monthly aged debt reports
- Chase all outstanding debt on an ongoing basis
- Maintain debt levels within prescribed targets as set by manager
- Manage the production of monthly occupancy reports to strict deadlines
- Monthly production of the Accrued and Deferred income journals
- Produce sales ledger reports as required
- Ensure specified Sales Ledger balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
Profile
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
- Experience and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Excel
