Moving with Dignity Lead Practitioner
Type: Temporary (3 months) with view to extend
Salary: £29-£37 per hour

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Moving with Dignity Lead Practitioner. This is a temporary position for 3 months, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
As a Moving with Dignity Lead Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of delegated programs related to Moving and Handling of people, principles of Moving with Dignity, and single-handed care. Key responsibilities include:
Providing practice leadership by supporting the development of research-informed practice.
Delivering a performance and quality assurance function within the organization.
Supporting staff development and contributing to strategic development in the organization related to Moving and Handling of people.
Additionally, the post holder will be expected to complete moving and handling assessments, including managing a complex moving and handling caseload. The balance between clinical and leadership responsibilities can be tailored and discussed on an individual basis with the appropriate candidate, presenting an excellent career development opportunity.
Qualifications:
Professional qualification registered as Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council, or registered nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council. Or
Postgraduate certificate in Ergonomics & Human Factors qualification.
Moving and Handling of people trainer Level 4 accredited or willingness to undertake this qualification within 6 months.
Evidence of continuing professional development and membership of a professional body.
