Customer Service & Logistics Manager
Location: Stonehouse
Pay Range/details: up to £40,000 doe
Contract Type: Permanent
Our client based in Stonehouse, have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service & Logistics Manager to join their small friendly team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities – Customer Service & Logistics Manager
House Accounts management
Managing Customer Service team and office support for remote sales team
Update and produce KPI information on a regular basis
Provide service levels for each customer as required
Build rapport with customers to ensure great customer service, managing staff & customer expectations
Set goals to motivate team members
Be an escalation point for disputes or issues
People management, training and coaching of team members
Manage precise & timely orders process and portfolio order management, assuring data quality, consistency and reliability
Acknowledge all Orders and manage customer expectations
Agree and commit to “Required By Dates” by agreeing with Production
Ensure relevant pricing is correct, escalating queries to the finance team

Qualifications & Requirements – Customer Service & Logistics Manager
A proven record of delivering a high level of Customer Service
Strong leadership skills
Ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement
Outgoing and positive with a can-do attitude
Excellent communicator with the ability to easily build relationships
Attention to detail, accuracy and speed
Well organised and able to meet deadlines and see the bigger picture
Strong team working ethic, with a willingness to provide cover within the team when required, showing flexibility and consistency
Knowledge of export processes
Knowledge of legal and contractual documentation in the distribution of products via third party haulage/transporters to UK/EU and Rest of World destinations.
Experience of implementing improvements in processes and procedures
Experience of working in a sales background with a customer first attitude
