Job description

The Best Connection are recruiting Laboratory Assistants for Immediate Starts based in Walsall.

**Previous background of working in a laboratory is required**

Ideal candidate would have knowledge of Chemistry with good attention to detail and has completed tests and analysed results previously.

Hours and Pay:

• 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday ( Ongoing )
• £11.50 to £12.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Role and duties:
As a Laboratory Assistant You will be taking samples of oils and be responsible for maintaining quality inspection records as well as Testing the purity of oil to water ratio / Moisture

• Dipping into the oil - Batch testing samples and Logging results
• Tracking shipments through the process to when they arrive to when they leave
• Recording all information
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software Experience required for a Laboratory Assistant

• Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)

• Possible permanent position following a successful trial period.
