Overview
Looking to take the next step in your marketing career? A well-renowned educational company based in the heart of Surrey are looking for a Senior Marketing Officer with a strong design background.
Salary: circa £28,000
Duties
- Design and artwork (using Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign and Photoshop) collateral and online visuals including guides, adverts, banners, newsletters, leaflets, brochures, posters, billboards and online activity; in line with brand guidelines
- Produce finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
- Support the Head of Marketing on development projects, including managing internal departments to deliver requirements to deadlines.
- Quality control marketing support materials and ensure all items obtain sign off to the required levels
- Proofreading and helping to create all copywriting for company collateral and website and social media content
- Developmental work and content management of the company website using the company CMS; and in addition liaising with external web developers on key projects
- Basic development work to the company website using web coding and html skills (desirable but not essential)
- Day-to-day co-ordination and reconciliation of departmental budget
- Daily management, creation and reporting of social media communication
Key Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Marketing, Design or Business related discipline)
- Relevant professional qualifications, e.g. Adobe certified Training, CIM
- Maths & English GCSE /Level 2 equivalent (achieved or willing to obtain)
- Supervisory or managerial experience of staff and/or projects
- Significant proven experience in a similar role
- Event management experience
- Proven advanced design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud in particular Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Microsoft Office suite (Advanced level) – proven experience
- Web coding and html skills (desirable, not essential)
- Website CMS – Development and Maintainance
- Exemplary copywriting and proof reading skills with attention to detail
- It is highly desirable that you hold a full UK driving license and have the willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes
- Ideally based in the Surrey area and local to Croydon
