Job description

SF Recruitment it currently recruiting for a very well established business based in Sutton in Ashfield, they are looking for a Junior Buyer.

This is a brilliant role for someone who is at the start of their career within Procurement and is looking at progressing along the buyer route, you will need to have a minimum of one year working within a purchasing administrator/assistant or junior buyer level role and have a good understanding of the buying process.

Main duties:
- Ensuring that all subcontract PO's are raised and manged.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external key stakeholders.
- Identify and report sources of risks from subcontract supply chain.
- Monitor and report supplier defect rate.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
- Planning with supply chain urgent work.
- Expediting and prioritising work through subcontract supply chain.
- Supplier relationship management.
- Invoice process support.

Permanent role, Monday to Friday, fully office based, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Depending on experience up to £25,000 per annum
