What you will do in your working day

We are looking for an apprentice to join our engineering team in Gloucester, where you will be part of a growing team and company with ambitious plans for development in the next few years and beyond.The opportunity to be involved in design and higher technical areas.

You will be based in Gloucester, working on electrical and mechanical / hydraulic engineering projects.

Your duties will include:

• Mechanical Assembly of Industrial Electrical Panels.
• Use of CAD drawings. Monitoring and fault diagnosis.
• Assembling and testing electrical circuits.
• General Mechanical work associated with Hydraulics – especially Hydraulic / Electrical Interface work.

The training you will be getting

EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence). EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Technical Support EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge). Apprentices will attend college for two days per week over two years. Training, assessments and observations will also be completed in the workplace
