Job description
Carbon60 are recruiting for a Project Development Engineer to work with a waste, water and energy management solutions client of ours. This role can be based in any of our clients' sites in Scotland.
These project development engineer is on a temporary to permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will be someone that has good relationship building skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing technical guidance and support across our clients Water & Industrial Customers.
- Supporting the development and promotion of new innovative and commercially attractive service offering.
- To support to the sustainable growth of Veolia UK's business (HVAC, BMS, LTHW, Chilled Water, District Energy, Heat Pumps, Fuel Cells, Low Carbon Heat Network, Steam and CHP)
- To support the Project Development leadership team, BD and Ops teams to develop new energy performance proposals, existing operational contracts and new business development opportunities within industrial, healthcare and building service sectors.
Skills and Experience required:
- Degree (at least 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Power Generation or similar engineering subject or demonstrable working experience.
- Experience of the energy industry in particular: building services, HVAC, BMS, steam raising plants, CHP, LTHW systems, Low carbon technology and heat networks.
- Good understanding of thermal process, hydraulics, electrical distribution and controls to lead selected project design reviews
- A capable relationship builder with good meeting facilitation techniques
Rates are competitive with car allowance.
