Senior Valuation Surveyor
Role - Senior Valuation Surveyor
Location - Doncaster
Salary - £50,000 - £70,000
We are working with a 4th generation consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced and qualified chartered surveyor and registered valuer with at least 3 years PQE to undertake predominantly loan security valuations of commercial property throughout the UK. The role can be based in South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, London or Gloucestershire.
This is hybrid role with the ability to work from home some of the week, but equally we will be looking for the ideal candidate to work collaboratively with the rest of the valuations team and to be a self starter.
Duties
• To undertake valuations of commercial properties for Loan Security and other purposes
• Attend site inspections and take accurate measurements of sites and buildings
• Review occupational leases and assess their impact on value
• Compile long form and short form valuation reports
• Work with the Valuation Directors to develop client relationships
Skills
• MRICS Qualified
• Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office packages and databases
• Good report writing skills and attention to detail
• A sound understanding of the various markets across the Midlands
• Valid driving licence and access to a car
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Must be able to work to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
