Job description

Mortgage Broker / Advisor role at a forward thinking advisory firm in the West End of London, who offer expertise on property and finance. They are a firm that was founded by former private bankers, with the aim to bring a fresh approach to bespoke finance. The firm specialises in residential finance, later life lending, commercial finance, and life insurance & income protection. They are a small honest firm aiming to provide customers with the best possible service.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in Mortgages and the documentation and regulatory requirements for both mortgages and protection. The candidate must have market experience, and possess excellent communication skills, to provide clients with the best service possible.

Mortgage Broker Position Overview

• Client consultation, understanding financial situations and mortgage needs
• Mortgage selection, recommending suitable mortgage products
• Application management, assisting clients in completing mortgage application
• Lender relations, maintaining relationships with multiple lenders to ensure the best mortgage rates
• Negotiation on behalf of clients, to provide the best mortgage terms, interest rates, and conditions
• Educate clients about the mortgage process

Mortgage Broker Position Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience as a mortgage broker or a related role in the financial services industry
• CeMAP Qualified
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, to best aid clients and provide them with excellent service
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending policies, and regulations

Mortgage Broker Position Remuneration

• Self employed position with a 70/30 split on self generated business, and 50/50 on leads provided
• Included pension scheme
• 25 days holiday
• Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days from home)
