15 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks)

Salary: Teaching element - UNQ to UPS plus fringe pro rata, 0.75FTE; support element - H3/H4 plus fringe pro rata, 7 hours per week

Actual salary: £9,310 - £16,043 

Start date: April 2024

Sandringham School is a high performing and extremely popular Outstanding School situated in the picturesque city of Saint Albans, Hertfordshire, conveniently located just 20 minutes by train from St Pancras, London.

We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious part-time Music Technician to join our outstanding Music Faculty. Music is a very popular subject with large numbers studying the subject at KS4 and KS5, as well as offering a broad range of extra-curricular opportunities. We are seeking to recruit someone who is dynamic and has a passion for all areas of music technology. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to join a high performing school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career. The successful candidate will:

• ideally be a Music Technology/Audio Engineer graduate with BSc, BMus, BA or equivalent
• have excellent knowledge of Logic Pro, an understanding of a range of microphone techniques and an understanding of the mixing and mastering process
• have a passion for music and music education and ideally have experience working with young people
• have the ability to work well within a team
• be positive, enthusiastic and flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
• promote Sandringham’s ethos and values
