School Staff Instructor (SSI)
Knole Academy in Sevenoaks is looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic SSI to co-ordinate the Combined Cadet Force. The applicant is likely to be an ex-senior NCO of the regular or reserve armed services although applications are also invited from others who have a working knowledge of the cadet movement and experience as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer. The academy currently has 42 enthusiastic cadets enrolled.
Working one day per week term time (plus occasional evenings and weekends) the postholder is able to claim up to 51 days’ pay from the MoD at the current rate of £74.80 per day.
