The Role
As the Ecommerce Content & Channel Specialist, you will spearhead our online presence and drive sales through various ecommerce platforms and trade merchants and DIY retail chains. Your role encompasses identifying key online marketplaces, optimising product listings, and implementing strategies to enhance visibility and increase online sales. You'll be responsible for leveraging industry knowledge to craft consumer-friendly content and capitalise on internet strategies to maximise revenue for both our customers and our customers, customers.
You will be highly proficient at understanding the consumer journey and writing and creating content to increase KPIs such as, SEO, page rating, click through and conversion.
Responsibilities :
· Nurture and oversee relationships with major ecommerce platforms, ensuring compliance and maximising our presence.
· Collaborate with internal teams for seamless integration of product catalogues, pricing, and inventory across channels.
· Create and refine product listings to boost discoverability and drive conversion.
· Continuously enhance content to improve conversion rates and ensure accuracy of product information.
· Develop ecommerce strategies to enhance KPIs such as page ranking, click-through, and conversion rates.
· Monitor sales performance across online channels, analysing key metrics to identify growth opportunities.
· Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with ecommerce goals.
· Provide regular updates to stakeholders on channel performance and upcoming initiatives
· Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and marketplace algorithms.
· Utilise insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
· Foster strong relationships with account managers and support delivering their customer objectives
· Enhance customer experience and profitability through value-added initiatives.
· Work with GWA group marketing to optimise content and utilise software tools
· Identify and implement efficiency improvements to facilitate customer interaction.
· Utilise analytical skills to optimise pricing, margins, and promotional mechanics.
· Develop business plans based on insights and test assumptions to drive growth.
· Report challenges and provide solutions to achieve profitable volume growth.
Qualifications
· Strong written and communications skills
· Proven experience in ecommerce management, preferably within the plumbing or related industry.
· Minimum of 2 years experience working with major ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Mirakl) and understand their algorithms.
· Experience with content management systems and automation tools
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analytics tools.
· Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in ecommerce management, preferably within the plumbing or related industry.
· Familiarity with major ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Mirakl) and algorithms.
