Job description

• Key tasks as Multimedia Technician include: •
• Design and develop visual communications from conception to production
• Operate and maintain digital equipment, including software, audio, video and lighting
• Capture and edit both video and photography as required • Operate a variety of illustrative, editing, presentation and 3D modelling software
• Apply design principles and best practice principles to all outputs • An interest in music based technical equipment and digital audio editing may be desirable
• To take responsibility for the creation and distribution of high quality Multimedia projects for the College such as: Website and social media development and maintenance
• Press and social media liaison
• Photography and filming of school events
• Graphic design
• Movie production
• Audio editing
• To support the Network Manager of the school through the preparation, installation and configuration of all ICT and Multimedia equipment, and general duties.
• Support for teaching staff in the use of software and hardware
• To be responsible for the booking and checking of ICT/Multimedia equipment
• Any other duties as assigned by line management
