Job Description
- Manage and oversee all extrusion processes within the manufacturing department.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure productivity and quality targets are met.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for extrusion operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Facilitate training for team members on extrusion processes and safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure product integrity and compliance with standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Continuous Improvement Specialist should have:
- A degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in extrusion processes and industrial manufacturing.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with various departments.
