The role
As a Lifting Operations Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in the day-to-day safe planning of lifting / heavy transport operations SPMT`s (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) across the Rosyth site. This will include the daily liaison with various teams to ensure all lifts are planned and carried out in a safe manner.
Day to day, you will play a pivotal role within a central team to support the sites lifting and heavy transport requirements. You will be responsible for the management, organisation, planning and control of lifting operations across Rosyth, ensuring compliance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) regulations.

This role is full time 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday and will be based on site at Rosyth.
