Role Type: Temporary (to cover long-term sick leave)
Hours: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
We are working with a dedicated and compassionate charity committed to making a positive impact in our community. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our small finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Process approximately 150 invoices per month using the ERP system (Protean).
• Utilize finance systems (Therefore and Sage) effectively.
• Produce weekly reports for the Finance Director.
• Enter customer receipts and resolve customer queries.
• Process customer credit applications.
• Print invoices from Outlook and match them with delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Code and enter purchase invoices.
• Liaise with purchasing and warehouse teams to address queries.
• Obtain authorisation for prices and payments.
• Create purchase ledger payment runs.
• Maintain the foreign payments spreadsheet and notify Directors when payments are due.

Requirements:

• A positive and enthusiastic individual, self-motivated to succeed and continually improve.
• Previous accountancy experience, with essential Purchase Ledger experience.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy.
• Competent in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• At least two years' experience using accounting software packages.
• Experience reconciling accounts.
