Nurture Group in Key Stage 1

Supporting SEN within mainstream primary school

Working alongside other support assistants and the SENCO

Due to a number children with SEN and a commitment to providing the best quality of education for all of their children, a large primary school in Salford are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1 to work with a nurture group of lower achieving children.

- Key Stage 1 Experience

- Working with low achieving EAL children

- Supporting SEN children in Key Stage 1

- Fixed Term, Long Term Contract

- Nurturing roles and qualities desirable

- Position starting ASAP

This school provides excellent support structures and proudly serves the local community. There is a specific cohort of Key Stage 1 children who need a nurturing approach to their learning as they are low achievers at the moment. You would need to have experience as a teaching assistant and the running of a classroom as you would be expected to lead small groups and have a positive impact on raising attainment within the year 1/2 class. If you have experience of working within Key Stage 1 and have a calm and nurturing nature with patience to work with children of a low ability SEN and EAL, the school would be interested in meeting you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
