About Henfox Limited
Henfox is a new hospitality group based entirely in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
The first venue, Cafe Impromptu, opened in June 2022. Our second venue, Machine Inn, opened in July 2023. We recently purchased the Knockerdown Inn and we are due to open at least three more venues in and around Ashbourne within the next six months.
Henfox Limited is part of the historic Hopton Hall estate, where we have five holiday lets and our gardens and cafe are open to the public.
Assistant Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.

Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.
Key duties include
- Supporting the General Manager in training and supervising employees.
- Addressing customer needs, comments and complaints.
- Adhering to and enforcing employee compliance with health and safety standards.
- Ensuring all employees are working within outlined operating standards.
- Confidently manage staff through a busy service and close to include ensuring the security of the building.

You should be

Qualifications
- A solid restaurant background working within high level establishments.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- 3-5 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of ePOS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
