About Our Client
Global manufacturing and engineering company looking for a direct tax accountant to join their global team
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare UK tax reports and calculations for year-end reporting and statutory accounts (FRS 101/102).
- Assist with UK tax compliance, computations, and HMRC inquiries.
- Manage corporate interest restriction legislation and prepare the CIR return.
- Maintain internal processes for CFC status, quarterly instalment payments, and treaty clearance certificates.
- Support global tax compliance arrangements and prepare for the OECD Pillar 2 regime.
- Assist in various tax-related activities, including restructuring, M&A, and cash tax forecasting.
- Contribute to year-end tax reporting for overseas entities and provide information for transfer pricing reports.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Degree level, accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA), tax qualification (ATT/CTA), or relevant tax experience.
- Hands-on experience with tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling tax matters for corporate entities.
