Lunchtime Support Facilitator for Student with ASD

Job Type: 5 days a week, 2 hours per day

Working Hours: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Compensation: £13.50 per hour

About Us: We are a dedicated educational institution committed to providing personalized and inclusive learning environments for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Role Overview: Join our team as a Lunchtime Support Facilitator, working one-to-one with an ASD student during lunchtime hours. Enjoy the stability of a fixed schedule: 5 days a week, 2 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  1. Dedicated Support:

    • Provide personalized support and cultivate a positive environment during lunchtime.
  2. Daily Activities:

    • Assist with daily activities and encourage social interactions among students.
  3. Behavioral Strategies:

    • Implement behavioral strategies and collaborate on individualized support plans.
  4. Communication:

    • Maintain effective communication with parents and staff, while keeping detailed records.

Requirements: Experience in working with ASD or special educational needs, a compassionate demeanor, and strong communication skills are essential. Flexibility to commit to a fixed 5-day schedule is a key requirement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
