The Opportunity
We have an exciting vacancy for an Aggregate Geologist , in this national role you will have a chance to play an integral role in influencing the future of our operations and helping us maintain our reputation as a leader in the field.
Our latest vacancy provides a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Geologist to contribute to the continued success and growth of our business. The selected candidate will be instrumental in exploring, evaluating, and advising on the geologic aspects crucial to our extraction and production processes. This is a great opportunity for the new postholder to make their stamp within a team which has recently been heavily invested with technology.
Keys aspects of the role include:
Operate within the consistent approach to all geological services across the region in accordance with the regional and national approach and process for the 5 year drilling programmes, overburden and mine planning, As part of the process, build strong relationships with operational, geological and estate teams
Support the regional geologists in the sustainability of the regions through mineral replenishment projects, mine plan development and reserves & resource management of the sites
Who you are
The ideal candidate would have an earth science degree, and be a chartered engineer or geologist or working towards it.
A thorough knowledge of UK legislation relating to quarries and associated operations is essential.
Experience of working with LSS and CAD
This will be a national role and the successful applicant must be willing to travel extensively.
