Job description

Situated at the heart of the East Midlands, with excellent transport links, East Staffordshire continues to change and is one of the fastest growing areas in the Midlands, with significant new housing growth and regeneration – which incorporates our transformational Towns Fund programme. Post Covid and through the cost of living crisis, the council has focussed on serving our communities, investment, innovation and continuing to deliver excellent services to our residents whilst responding positively to challenges that revenues, benefits and customer contact bring about.

The administration of the Revenues and Benefits department are in a strong position with both highly performing teams exceeding key performance indicators and delivering a well-respected service to the community.
As an experienced manager with extensive Revenues and Benefits knowledge, you will need to have accomplished record of digital service delivery and channel shift. Your primary objective is to provide continuity through the drive towards a greater digital presence and service, combining this with direction and support for the team. Processing and document management is via the Capita Academy and the Civica Comino W2 systems respectively.
