Credit Specialist – Preston – Option for 4-day week!!
Centric Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Credit Specialist on behalf of one of our clients, who are a leading Financial and Customer Care outsourcing partner.
Credit Specialist - The Role & Responsibilities
This role is customer service focussed and will involve:
- Contacting global telecoms customers to secure payments
- Liaising with customers about overdue invoices
- Dealing with people based in Canada, The Caribbean, and Latin America and Europe, Asia, and Africa
- Communication via email and telephone
In this role, associates must deliver an effortless customer experience by liaising with internal business partners and resolving complex account issues to positively impact customer payment behaviour.
The role of the Credit Specialist is to operate around three key dimensions:
- Maintain high-quality standards in customer calls, emails, and accounts work.
- Consistently exceed individual KPIs and contribute positively towards overall team performance.
- Respond to change positively and assist Management to identify improvement opportunities & continuous development.
The role will require, but is not limited to:
- End-to-End Account Management
- Creating urgency and utilizing questioning skills to identify primary root-cause for non-payment of all overdue invoices.
- Communicating effectively to secure payment commitments and monitor payment receipts from customers.
- Manage all customer requests for:
- Vendor forms
- Invoice copies
- Account reconciliations
- Contract copies
- Billing disputes
- Missing payment investigations
- Customer account changes (name, address, contact, VAT number, PO numbers)
- Payment or credit allocations and/or refund eligibility
- Host conference calls with key stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of complex billing issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement forums to help Managers identify opportunities to streamline day-to-day tasks.
- Initiate customer feedback surveys via email for all two-way interactions
- Deliver an exceptional experience to internal and external Global Telecoms Client customers.
Credit Specialist - Working Hours:
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. However, the potion to condense hours into a 4-day work week is also available. Please note - this is a fully office-based position.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday – Friday 37.5 hour per week
- 7am - 5.30 pm
- 2 pm - 1030 pm (shift premium of up to 20% available is paid on this shift)
- For the right candidate, our client can offer a 4-day working week (condensed hours)
