In partnership with our Client we have a fantastic opportunity for hardworking individuals to join their team in Belfast as Filling Plant Operative
Airport Road West
Pay Rate: £11.57 Per Hour + Holiday Pay
Overtime Rate: £17.35 Per Hour (Any hours worked over standard 39 hours)
Hours Per Week: 39
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing
Job Duties:
- The safe operating of LPG terminal valves for delivery of products from storage vessels to the cylinder filling plant.
- The safe loading/unloading of cylinders onto pallets and trailers.
- The safe operating of equipment required for filling, weighing, sealing, de-valving and handling of Propane and Butane cylinders.
- Inspection and quality checks on filled Propane and Butane cylinders.
- Additional manual handling/labouring duties as required.
Job Criteria:
Essential:
- Driving Licence
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of health and safety
- Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
- Ability to keep accurate daily records
- Ability to work overtime or on a shift pattern if required (early morning/after hours)
- Good level of fitness
Desirable:
- 1-2 years experience in a general labouring/operations/manual handling role is desirable but not essential
