Job description
- Senior Quantity Surveyor
- London Heathrow
- Freelance – Inside IR35 £600-£650 a day
Looking for a proven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a large civil engineering contractor working on the new Heathrow H7 Framework.
As an established Senior Quantity Surveyor with a pedigree of working on large projects in the UK, you would be proficient with NEC contracts and have a good understanding of intricate civil engineering schemes.
Personality and a positive outlook is key to this role, we are looking at problem solvers, and people that bring answers to the table in an environment that is challenging and exciting.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate commercial experience in the U.K construction / Engineering industry with:
- A demonstrable track record of achievement
- Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen on similar projects
- Practical approach, a logical thought process and a methodical way of working
- Bringing creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Extensive experience with setting up and/or operating office management systems including filing systems and document control and distribution
- Extensive experience of technical minute taking at contractual meetings and able to demonstrate the ability to collate information, prepare reports, payment certificates and interim financial reports and closeout reports
- Extensive experience of drafting effective contractual correspondence and the facilitation of collaborative solutions.
