Now is an exciting time to join the Education team and to make a real difference to the future of the council and the residents. You’ll report into the Deputy Director of Education and will work within a talented and high performing team in support of our Schools’ Forum. The Schools’ Forums’ purpose is to provide strategic direction for the funding of schools in the local authority and support services in relation to new school funding arrangements. As Schools Partnership Officer, you will provide an invaluable link between members of the Schools’ Forum, the Chair and the local authority, providing independent and expert advice to the Forum and other school focused strategic partnerships on its duties and functions to create efficiency and ensure compliance. To support this, you will also take on responsibility for a range of strategic partnership meetings: organising agendas, room bookings, taking minutes and wider administrative support to the Deputy Director of Education and the Director of Children’s Services. This will include the Education Commission and a variety of other boards and meetings.Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme
