Nannies of St James

Location

Kensington, Greater London | United Kingdom

Job description

KENSINGTON + travel: ASAP start ££££ (driver req)

KENSINGTON + travel: Norland-trained, *Daily* Rota Nanny(3 children, 3 - 8 years & new baby due)

Busy international clients based in Kensington are seeking an exemplary Norland-trained, *Daily* Rota Nannyto care for their 3 children; 8, 5 & 3 years, and Mum is pregnant with baby number 4 (due February).

Please note, that our clients are looking to recruit a Norland-trained Nanny, as this role is to replace their current Norland nanny who is moving on after 4 very happy years. And prior to this candidate, their first nanny was also a Norlander.  Both Norlanders have been very happy within their roles.

This is a *DAILY* rota position and the hours will be 7-10 days on/off (to be formally agreed), and the nanny is contracted to working 26 weeks per year.

This role is a *Daily*, Rota position, working 7-10 days on/off working in conjunction with the family's long-standing, German Nanny.   When in London hours will be 12/13 hours daily + occasional babysitting and on-call when the family is travelling.  Accommodation will be supplied when the family is travelling, but not when they are at home in London.

There are 3 children: 8, 5 & 3 years and Mum is heavily pregnant with baby #4.  All the children are in great routines and the eldest two are at school and the youngest is at nursery 5 mornings/week, so there is plenty of time and opportunity for the new nanny to be able to perform all the usual nursery duties, with school runs, and though this is a formal, staffed household and there is a Chef to support with children's meals.  The new baby is due this winter (February) and a Maternity Nurse will be employed for a number of months, but ultimately the new nanny will have charge of the baby when the Maternity Nurse leaves, so the new applicant should be well-equipped to take over from the MN and take on the baby's care and responsibilities.

One of the key client requirements is that the new candidate should have good experience in formal settings, with glowing references and a proven track record of working within a staffed environment and able to manage multiple aged children. There is also extensive travel in the school holidays, so the new nanny should also have prior experience of overseas travel with charges & families (super-organised, good traveller personally, always 3-steps ahead and able to think on her feet at all times).

The family is located in Chelsea SW3. South Ken tube is the nearest (approx. 5 minute walk) and Sloane Square (approx. 10 minutes).
