About Our Client

The Transport Manager will be working for a leading national distribution business operating in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector

Job Description

* Manage O licence responsibility
* Ensure direct reports are empowered and capable of providing customer based solutions
* Ensure agreed customer SLAs are reached
* Focus on route optimisation to maximise commercial returns of the operation
* Develop driver performance focused on both material and qualitative outcomes
* Promote a positive HSE environment
* Ensure compliance with all operational standards within the business

The Successful Applicant

• Will have a background in operational transport management
• Must be CPC qualified
• Experience in route planning/fleet compliance
• Knowledge of operational development is an advantage
• Must be commutable to Leicester

What's on Offer

The Transport Manager will be paid a salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 plus bonus
