A top-tier Construction Consultancy is actively seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their expanding Leeds office. This presents a unique chance for a forward-thinking individual to become a pivotal part of a renowned Project Management team, contributing to a diverse range of both private and public sector projects including commercial, retail, residential, education, healthcare, regeneration, and infrastructure. The Construction Project Manager Role As a Project Manager, you will: Develop and agree on the client's brief, coordinating with other consultants as necessary. Manage and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to meet project requirements, including the preparation of programmes and programme management. Oversee change management, coordinate the design process, and manage project control both pre- and post-contract, including financial oversight across all RIBA stages. Develop procurement strategies and manage procurement activities. Lead risk, value, and opportunity management, including facilitating workshops to ensure project team control, including contractors and the supply chain. Chair meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring clear and effective communication. Prepare and issue project reports such as Project Execution Plans, Strategy Reports, Risk Registers, and Progress Reports. Identify and develop new business opportunities, including bid preparation and presentations.The Construction Project Manager Proven experience in a similar role within the construction environment. A construction-related degree, HNC, or HND is desirable. Membership or affiliation with a construction-related professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, CIBSE) is advantageous. Comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles. Experience with various forms of building contract and contract administration. The ability to effectively plan and monitor project progress and expenditure. A clear understanding of risk management practices. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Bid writing and presentation skills are essential.
