Job description
My client is recruiting for a permanent Import Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.
The role is a 4 on 4 off shift 7am - 7pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to air import and operations team, assisting with administration, documentation and other duties as assigned, incl. but not limited to;
- Taking and responding to calls and emails.
- Tracking cargo
- Dealing with airlines, government agencies and HMRC.
- Booking jobs
- Customer interaction.
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- Gathering and processing shipping documentation.
- Uploading information into internal systems ensuring accurate information is passed onto the clearing clerks and duty managers.
- Filing, and other general administrative duties.
SKILLS:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Computer literacy in MS Outlook and MS Excel would be an advantage
