Job description

Paralegal (Civil Litigation), permanent role, £31684-35000 doe, Brighton, East Sussex, hybrid working (minimum 6 days in office a month), for public sector pensions organisation.

You must have a strong educational background, a legal qualification is essential (law degree, CPE, LPC or ILEX) plus good knowledge of Court Regulatory procedures and public law general principles, along with some experience of working within a similar civil litigation department.

The Paralegal will provide high level, focussed and efficient support to the Automatic Enrolment Legal team. As well as AE litigation before the First Tier Tribunal, criminal prosecutions, and debt cases, there is a broad range of advisory work. This includes opportunities in procurement, commercial, and information law.

You will -

Naturally you will have experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents; Proven ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences including external parties, legal counsel and internal stakeholders up to Board level.

Strong IT skills, including experience of standard IT software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
