Job description
We are an experienced and adaptive SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership Schools in Grimsby.
Role:
- The full time role will provide support for 32.5 hours per week, supporting pupils with a diverse range of SEN needs across the EYFS/KS1/KS2 curriculum.
- You will have a calm and patient approach, that encompasses the values of the school and encourages active engagement from pupils in learning activities.
- Staff work closely with parents and governance to uphold high expectations and a shared belief that all children can succeed through effective support and pastoral care.
- You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Requirements:
- 5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English
- Level 3 Certificate in Supporting T & L in Schools or equivalent
- A level education in one or more subjects
- Experience of working with children or young people
- Experience of working in an educational environment
- Minimum of two years working in a primary setting
- An understanding of the teaching and learning process
- Professional Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to engage with a wide range of students from different backgrounds
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Academy
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise your own workload
