Job description
A well-respected Cheshire law firm is looking for a Private Client Lawyer (either qualified solicitor or legal executive) with at least five years’ experience to join its growing team in Macclesfield and play a pivotal role in the future of the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a step up, as you’ll be working as a Deputy to the Head of Private Client.
There is an opportunity available to spearhead a new team specialising in Contentious Probate if you should wish to – but this is not essential and, if it was, you would still be able to enjoy a mixed caseload yourself.
The firm offers competitive pay, hybrid working, and a monthly bonus based on % of target reached. While many firms offer an annual bonus, the fact that this is paid out so frequently is rare in the market and means you can boost your take-home pay every month.
Other key benefits include an enhanced holiday allowance, increasing with length of service, your birthday off, Christmas closure, a healthcare plan and Employee Assistance Programme, enhanced pension scheme, discounted legal services, subsidised gym membership and a generous budget for team socials.
In the role, you’ll work on a wide variety of matters, including Will drafting, trusts and tax planning, estate administration, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
