About The Role
We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. To work alongside all Guest Services Departments in a large shopping centre and an operational control room and comprehensive operational support to the team at CMK to include operational support to the Security Night team, Mall Supervisors and Contracts Manager where required.
You will be working 4 days on and 4 days off, on a permanent full-time basis, 08:30 to 20:30, 38.5 hours per week.
We would consider candidates who would work either a 4 on / 5 off pattern or 4 on / 3 off pattern, Thursday to Sunday.
Your main responsibilities may also include:
- Acting as a first-line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service.
- You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
- Assisting in other general duties as requested by Senior Management and working towards streamlining processes.
- Ensure your SIA license is with you at all times.
- To report any defect and/or incident to the Mall Supervisor, and carry out any required investigation.
- To administer First Aid as and when required & to attend all training and development courses as instructed.
- To assist, in the common areas, any retail unit security with any stops they make.
To succeed in this role you will need the following :
- Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
- SIA license is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A professional demeanor with sound judgement and integrity
